Creator Agreement

This Creator Agreement applies to users who upload, publish, distribute, or sell content through TalesNTokens. It supplements the Terms of Service, Marketplace Terms, Copyright and DMCA Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Definitions

"Creator" means a user approved to publish or sell Assets.

"Asset" means any map, token, image, pack, template, character sheet, brush, texture, module, or other Digital Content uploaded by a Creator.

"Creator Content" means Assets, listing text, preview images, metadata, branding, support materials, and licence terms provided by the Creator.

"Payout" means the Creator's share of Net Revenue.

Scope

This Agreement applies to free and paid Creator Content, marketplace listings, promotional content, licence grants, buyer support, refunds, chargebacks, takedowns, moderation, and creator payouts.

Creator Ownership

Creators retain ownership of Creator Content. TalesNTokens does not claim ownership of Creator Content.

Creators grant TalesNTokens only the limited licence needed to host, display, process, back up, moderate, promote within the Marketplace, deliver, and support Creator Content as described in the Marketplace Terms.

Creator Eligibility

Creators must:

  • be legally able to enter this Agreement;
  • provide accurate identity, payout, tax, and contact information where required;
  • comply with sanctions, payment, consumer, copyright, and platform rules;
  • maintain a working support contact;
  • keep account credentials secure.

Creator Warranties

Creators represent that:

  • they own or have all required rights to Creator Content;
  • Creator Content does not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or other rights;
  • Creator Content does not contain malware, spyware, hidden trackers, exploit code, or unlawful material;
  • listings are accurate and not misleading;
  • previews fairly represent the delivered Asset;
  • AI-generated or AI-assisted content is disclosed where required by law, platform rules, or listing standards;
  • Creator Content complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.

Licence Selection

Creators must select accurate licence categories under the Marketplace Terms. Creators may not offer broader rights than they own. Custom licences must be clear, written, and available to the Buyer before purchase.

Commercial Usage Rights

Creators may offer Commercial Play Licences or Commercial Product Licences. If no commercial licence is selected, Buyers receive only the default Personal Use Licence or other listing-specific non-commercial licence.

Revenue Share And Payouts

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, Creators receive 70% of Net Revenue. Payouts may be delayed or withheld for:

  • refund windows;
  • chargebacks and disputes;
  • suspected fraud;
  • rights disputes;
  • missing tax or identity information;
  • sanctions screening;
  • policy violations;
  • legal obligations.

TalesNTokens may reverse Creator revenue for refunds, chargebacks, duplicate transactions, unlawful sales, or takedowns.

Taxes

Creators are responsible for taxes on payouts unless TalesNTokens is legally required to collect, withhold, report, or remit taxes. Creators must provide accurate tax information when requested.

Buyer Support

Creators must provide reasonable support for broken files, materially inaccurate listings, missing content, and licence questions. TalesNTokens may issue refunds or require fixes where content is faulty, misdescribed, inaccessible, infringing, or policy-violating.

Takedowns And Rights Disputes

TalesNTokens may remove or restrict Creator Content under the Copyright and DMCA Policy, Content Moderation Policy, or Marketplace Terms. Creators may submit counter-notices or appeals where allowed.

User Obligations

Creators must maintain lawful content, accurate listings, appropriate licence terms, secure accounts, truthful payout information, responsive support, and compliance with all incorporated policies.

Platform Obligations

TalesNTokens will provide listing tools, buyer access, payment processing, licence display, reporting workflows, refund handling, creator payout calculations, and enforcement procedures in accordance with these policies.

Enforcement Procedures

TalesNTokens may reject uploads, edit metadata for safety or clarity, remove previews, delist content, suspend sales, withhold payouts, require remediation, issue refunds, suspend Creator access, terminate accounts, or refer unlawful activity to authorities.

Appeals Process

Creators may appeal enforcement decisions within 30 days by emailing appeals@talesntokens.com with account email, listing ID, enforcement notice, and supporting evidence.
