Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains prohibited conduct on TalesNTokens. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service and should be read with the Community Guidelines, Content Moderation Policy, Child Safety Policy, User Reporting Policy, and Marketplace Terms.
Definitions
"Abuse" means conduct that harms users, the Platform, creators, buyers, third parties, or legal compliance.
"Illegal Content" means content or conduct that is unlawful in any relevant jurisdiction.
"Marketplace Scam" means misleading, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive marketplace activity.
"Automation Abuse" means bots, scripts, scraping, spam, or automated actions that harm the Platform or users.
Scope
This policy applies to accounts, rooms, maps, tokens, character sheets, notes, chat, uploaded files, creator uploads, marketplace listings, purchases, reports, appeals, WebSockets, APIs, sandbox sessions, and bridge features.
Prohibited Content And Conduct
Users must not:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, dox, intimidate, or encourage abuse;
- post hate speech or dehumanising content based on protected characteristics;
- upload, share, sell, or promote illegal content;
- upload malware, spyware, viruses, exploit payloads, phishing files, or harmful code;
- commit fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, refund abuse, or marketplace scams;
- upload pirated content, stolen assets, infringing content, or content without required rights;
- impersonate another person, creator, company, moderator, or TalesNTokens;
- exploit bugs, bypass access controls, evade bans, or interfere with room permissions;
- use automation to spam, scrape, harvest, overload, brute-force, or manipulate the Platform;
- manipulate reviews, rankings, reports, payouts, purchases, or analytics;
- share private room content outside authorised functionality;
- collect personal data from users without consent and lawful basis;
- upload sexual content involving minors or any child sexual exploitation or abuse material;
- promote terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm instructions, or serious illegal activity;
- use the Platform to distribute weapons instructions, credential theft, financial scams, or unlawful surveillance;
- mislabel AI-generated, licensed, or third-party content where disclosure is required;
- interfere with another user's gameplay, content, account, or marketplace access.
User-Generated Content Rules
Users are responsible for User Content they create, upload, display, sell, or share. Private gameplay content is not exempt from this policy where it is unlawful, abusive, harmful, infringing, or reported.
Marketplace Abuse
Marketplace scams include:
- stolen or pirated assets;
- misleading previews;
- fake creator identity;
- bait-and-switch updates;
- undisclosed licence restrictions;
- off-platform payment schemes;
- refund manipulation;
- chargeback manipulation;
- selling content that includes hidden tracking or malware.
Security Abuse
Security testing is permitted only under the Security Policy. Users must not access, alter, delete, or exfiltrate another user's data.
User Obligations
Users must use the Platform lawfully, respect other users, follow licence rules, maintain account security, report serious violations, and cooperate with safety investigations.
Platform Obligations
TalesNTokens will maintain reasonable rules, reporting channels, enforcement procedures, appeals, and safety reviews. TalesNTokens will not claim ownership of lawful user-created content when enforcing this policy.

Enforcement Procedures
TalesNTokens may warn users, remove content, restrict features, disable listings, revoke marketplace access, withhold payouts, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, notify payment providers, or report serious matters to authorities.
Appeals Process
Users may appeal enforcement decisions within 30 days by emailing appeals@talesntokens.com with the account email, decision notice, content ID, and supporting context.
